Cleaning with chemicals
What does a dust mite bite look like?
Ozone has been recognized as a toxic gas by the US Environmental Protection Agency (and others) and is produced by nature in the outdoor air…so let’s leave it there. ASHRAE is so concerned about ozone indoors that they have included section in theirs standards (Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality) which requires ANY electrically powered AIR CLEANING DEVICE to be listed and labeled in accordance with UL-2998 for ZERO ozone production, even as an unintentional by-product of its operation. UL tests and then verifies compliance of a manufactures IAQ product and if it passes, then issues a seal-of-validation. This requirement applies to all “powered” air cleaning products and technologies (no exception).
